My Envy Box 2014- review.

How I fell for My Envy Box!

My EnvyBox subscriptions came to me as a savior during a crisis.I was heartbroken at a bad experience with some other service and this came in as a best cheerer!

MyEnvyBox came in a beautiful pink box that has a magnetic clutch lid. I am soon going to use that as my travel box- container for makeup and jewelery! Even the box came in handy.
I got four wonderful products in this April 2014 box and am I loving them products? Hell, Yea!

Lookie at that Pink Box

The goodies I got!

This was a glad change from the usual fake promises and random delivery by a certain damp company. (Ahem, FABBAG)

I received four samples and a comic book (!) from Marvel Comics in this envy box. I am so in love!

The ZA Face cream I received was a sample size - of 5 grams and is such a cute travel size.
This cream apparently gives a 'whitening effect', which probably is the only attribute I don't agree to midst others like hydration, moisturization and sunscreen properties. The 40g size of ZA costs me INR 999/-
Let me use this first- in the first look though, it is scentless and applies well on the skin. Even after hours my skin feels soft and smooth. Fingers crossed.

The essence cream by Avene is the next product in My Envy Box. I received a 3 ML sample size. The 50 ML bottle would cost roughly INR2500/- It's expensive. It comes with a handy nozzle and is easy to apply.
Probably I could purchase this separately. It is scent free and has more liquid base than in a cream.

Great Great product and first wow! H2O+'s Sea Moss Body wash. Smells minty and sea-like. The smell would linger on for so long and comes in a travel size tube. I got a 60 ML tube and the full size is 1200INR. Pretty awesome. I am yet to use it and I will update this section, once I use it! promise!

Skin Yoga's almond-orange face scrub comes in the cutest bottle with a cork on it! It looks very promising and replenishing for the skin. The perfect home remedy in cute bottles. The full size is INR 1175/- and I received a sample size of 6gm. It comes with a scrub in the pouch, made of medicinal grass weed. Looks like I already love it! Hmmm smells like heaven.

Benefit sends me a sample of the Pore reduction cream. Only sad part being that it is TOO LESS to even try! I will use this, and see if it suits my skin! the full size 22ml costs a whopping 2230INR and now I received a 0.15ml (come on, don't be so cheap in providing samples, guys!)

Overall, I am happy with MyEnvyBox. I am glad I subscribed. Will I subscribe again? Hell, why not? I love this loads. Thanks Envy Team!

xoxo

How Cheating is Defined.

Tell me after looking at this picture.

Does this count for in any angle, any way for a whopping 599/- , okay round up, 600/- INR?
These are, let me explain, the infamous and shitty FAB BAG products I received after subscribing to their crap of a claim.

To be honest, I never thought I'd be duped like this. But then I have to post what Mamta, the head of that cheater company, had written to be after I wrote to her my displeasure of having received sub par drugstore items and nothing to do with what I paid for.

I had got
1) Cetaphil moisturiser and Cleanser lotion - samples- drugstore items that I can buy off the pharma store right opposite my lane.

2) Vivel - with an expiry date of May 2014 - and something that is absolutely rejected by every single woman I know. (Kareena Kapoor endorses it, she gets paid shitloads, we know!)

3) Tommy G Lipstick - slightly fine, but does NOT suit the Indian skin tone with it's ridonculous Neon Orangish-pink shade.

However, Mamta Aunty writes,
Hi ********* - We are extremely sad to hear that you dint like the products which were allotted to you.
Our customization team surely puts in lot of efforts to send in best and closest three products according to the questionnaire. You have made the payment for three months subscription, we surely dint want to ruin your subscription experience with us as we surely dint want it to be like thisAs per the policy we wont be able to refund your amount for March bag but can cancel and refund the amount for the coming months bag ie 1499-599=900 will be refunded.
Will surely hope that you will give it another chance and not cancel the subscription.
The second point makes me fume in disgust at her sheer audacity to justify the kind of awful service. Had it been the case as she has written, I'd get products according my questionnaire I gave them filled. Nope. That wasn't the case. and aunty Mamta wouldn't herself use any of the products they had sent me, and I am not keen to waste my money on the horrible/ waste company. They're just going to burn down soon!

Good riddance, that I am NOT GOING TO SUBSCRIBE to this SHIT.

Enchantess March 2014

I recently subscribed for a beauty subscription bag, called the Enchantess Bag in this March2014. I had no prejudices whatsoever when I stumbled across this website as a friend suggested me of beauty boxes. I was doubtful and had my moments of pang- wondering if it’d be worth the money and expectations I have of it. I am sure there have been reviews about these beauty bags but let me tell you what Wonderful products, four in number, I received after a week of wait!

In this bright pink potli pouch, I get 4 products of which 2 are full size! Not bad at all!

1) TVAM – Cinnamon and Patchouli Bar soap
2) ORIFLAME Nailpaint - Pastel Pink
3) NYAH Facial AloeVera and Seawater - Toner spray
4) NEAL AND WOLF – Conditioner and shampoo Sachets.

I was more than thrilled. Not because I received these ahead of my celebration time, but because of the two full-sized product in there! Both of those full size products together would cost over INR 385/- as the cost of this beauty box was INR 399/- Impressive!

So let me go into the nuances of the products.

TVAM – Cinnamon and Patchouli Bar soap

Being that someone who vouches by Medimix and Ayurveda, I can clearly state that I wouldn’t have bought this product from a supermarket because it is highly priced – 155/- INR for a bar! But then, now that I got it, I couldn’t have asked for more! I used it the day I got it in the Enchantess bag and my entire washroom smells of this soap.
It was a warm smell – of patchouli in strong and cinnamon in light. Your skin is given the effect of lukewarm water that opens your pores. Minute, tiny particles in the soap act like scrub and cleans the skin well. Long after you’re done with the shower, the patchouli works on your body and brings in a serene and warm feel for your body.
I rate it a 9 out of 10.

ORIFLAME Nailpaint

Nude colours are a big yes for me. I have olive+ beginning dusky skin, which I like the shine of. The colour that suits my skin is definitely Reddish- orange, orangish-pink, bright reds, crimson and nude colours. Even nails being tiny, nudes are perfect for them. I am a huge admirer of Oriflame products. And this has been added to the stash. It is a light rose colour and the details are below:
Oriflame Pure color Nailpolish
Pastel Pink
INR 169/- for 8 ml. Yup, I got a full size!

NYAH: Facial Toner

I have never used Nyah before this and wonder why I never did!
This is an AloeVera  Seawater Facial Toner from Nyah that gives you a refreshed face in 2 seconds of application. It comes with a small nozzle and what I received was a smaller size.  This is a miniature, handy bottle that contains 65 ml and costs around 85/-INR. It is a regular in my travel kit now; I can’t seem to keep my hands off it.
Excellent product, probably would buy a full size in near future; aka with some balance in my account.

NEAL AND WOLF- Shampoo/ conditioner Sachets

I get two pairs of Shampoo and conditioner sachets (totoal 4 sachets) of this UK brand; a premier in haircare. And trust me, what awesome samples these were! I used a pair of  the sachets the same day and I can’t vouch for another highly satisfied shower! This shampoo smells like heaven and cleaned all the dirt in my hair leaving it very fluffy and bouncy. The shampoo and conditioner was 7 ml in quantity and was perfect for mid-length hair until midriff.

The conditioner left my hair fragrant, smooth and extremely lush. My hair has turned manageable and beautiful; tangle free and easy to comb!  I have one more pair left and I am saving it for special occasions, yo!

Kickass product that I’d definitely re-purchase; provided I have a good funding in my account.
The full-size shampoo costs INR1300/- and the ritual conditioner around 1350/-. But hey, beautiful hair can happen, any time!

Thanks Enchantess, I am more than impressed. Please don’t trash those by lowering your standard of products- maintain this!
